Hi everyone I thought I would share some of my favourite
festive nail products and designs. Hope you enjoy <3333
Number One
This nail design, is just a simple lilac polish with a purple glitter topcoat which has little bits of sparkle. If you were wondering how many coats this needed it took 3 coats of lilac polish and 2 coats of the glitter topcoat. It's not too out there and looks so pretty,
Nail Polish : Rimmel London 60 seconds nail polish in the shade 410 I lilac you
Topcoat : Ciate mini in the shade glitterball
Number Two
I thought I would do a neutral nail, yet still festive. I used a nude ciate polish with a rimmel glitter bomb topcoat. This nail would go with any party look, or personally I would wear it everyday! This nail polish was super opaque, I was so impressed that it took 2 thin coats. For the topcoat it took 2 coats as I wanted the nail to be really sparkly and glittery.
Nail Polish : Ciate mini in the colour raincoat
Topcoat : Rimmel London glitter bomb in 019 disco diva
Number Three
This nail is for everyone who doesn't want sparkles, but wants something more than just a colour. I used 2 coats of a green polish and a flecky/spotty top coat. This top coat would be so nice if you were able to do a sky background and paint this over it to look like snow. I was going to do it but my ombre didn't work haha! The top coat is a bit thick but I managed to get it on the nail!
Nail Polish : Rimmel London 60 seconds nail polish in 835 bright back to you
Topcoat : Claire's nail polish in 87688 fluffy
Number Four
The following nail design is probably my favourite. It's quite classic and simple, but I love it. This is a lilac nail polish with lilac sparkle stud things at the tip. It is really easy to create and to be honest, I messed it up and managed to fix it really easily. It's for everyone who doesn't want a top coat but something extra!
Nail Polish : No7 stay perfect nail colour (shade has rubbed off)
Gems : Wheel from Rio
Number Five
The 5th nail is just a simple glittery top coat over a blue polish. The top coat was weirdly really think and gloopy for some reason, so didn't have the best finish. But I do really like the colour of the top coat as it has silver and blue little sparkles, which ties in with the blue base. This nail you can create without spending a lot of money, as the top coat is rimmel which costs a few pound and you can get a classic blue polish for one pound!!
Nail Polish : Rimmel London 60 seconds nail polish in the colour 840 blue eyed girl
Topcoat : Ciate mini (shade has rubbed off)
Number Six
This nail is a bit more subtle, yet you still have a little sparkle. Even though it's not as simple as just a simple top coat it is really easy! You don't need any tools at all just a glittery top coat, if you have never done a tip before I recommend using the widest brush that you have as it makes it so much easier. I absolutley love this nail and I'm actually going to paint mines today the same design!
Nail Polish : Maybeline super stay nail polish in 230 berry stain
Glitter : Sally Hansen triple shine in 610 changing tides
Number Seven
To be honest this nail design was a bit of a fail, but I'm sure if you do it right it will be really nice. This nail you do need some sort of dotting tool, I used a 2 different sizes of dotting tools. But if you don't have any dotting tools you can simply just use a kirby grip or tooth pick. This is looks hard and like you have put in a lot of effort when you didn't! It's great for someone who doesn't want any glitter at all ;))
Nail Polish : Revlon Colourstay in the shade 080 delicious
White Polish for dotting : Jessica nail polish in 681 on the rocks
Number Eight
This design is a lovely sparkley one and looks really nice as an accent nail or for all your nails. This is also incredibly easy and quick, anyone could do this. I love the effect this gives off and would be lovely for a Christmas party or if you are like me for everyday wear. I really like adding glittery top coats to nails as it makes it look way better if you aren't the best at painting nails or don't want to do loads of coats to make the polish really opaque.
Nail Polish : Revlon Colourstay in the shade 170 coastal surf
Top Coat : Rimmel London I <3 lasting finish in 500 disco ball
