1) the first thing i did was use the rimmel london lasting finish foundation in the shade 010 light porcelain and i just put it all over my face and blended with my fingers. this foundation is so amazing and gives really good coverage. i think it was £8/9 which is really good. i have a mac foundation but it really stings my skin and makes it red, i've heard other people complain about this too and this is a much cheaper alternative which is so much better for my skin. it may be different for your skin type but i would definitely opt for any rimmel london foundation over mac
2) next i set my foundation with the rimmel london stay matte pressed powder in the shade 003. sometimes i use the collection pressed powder in the shade 18 ivory. i don't have a preferred powder as both powders are perfect for me and are a similar price (£3/4). i use the studio powder brush. i know this brush isn't an expensive brush at all but it does the same quality job as any other powder brush from real techniques or mac. it's up to you what brand you want to go for personally but i think people get so caught up in this thing with brands and trying to impress people that they can afford everything. to me there isn't a difference, i would rather pay less money
4) then i used the black out of the revolution flawless palette and the mua eyeshadow in the shades copper and champagne to create a kind of smoky eye
5) for mascara i used a mix of the rimmel london super curler and the benefit bad gal to create this look. these 2 mascaras are really good for making your lashes look thicker and longer
6) you can't see this but on my lips i used a mac lipstick in the shade teddy bear
