Goodbye From Em

Hey guys just a quick post to update you all. Recently my health has been deteriorating and the blog and instagram have becoming more of a stress and chore than a fun hobbie so I have decided to leave. I want to thank you all for reading my posts and I also want to thank Ella for being the lovliest co-owner <3 I'm not sure what Ella is doing with the blog and instagram but I'm sure she will keep you updated - em <3

Naked 3 Dupe - W7 in the Nude Swatches & Review

Hi everyone hope everyone had a good day, since I didn't post on monday (because of health) I decided to post today since ella is busy with exams! I am going to be reviewing a new purchase of mine, the W7 in the nude eyeshadow palette!

This is the packaging of this palette, its not that similar to the naked 3 however it is really nice and pratical. The only thing is that it doesn't have a mirror which is unfortunate for travelling but apart from that I love the packaging!

these are all of the shades which are more or less identical to the naked 3. There are a range of mattes and shimmers from crease colours to lid colours and even the dark brown shade would suit some peoples eyebrows. These colours suit most eye colours but are extra effective on blue eyes.

Another plus is they have shade names on the back so it's easy to use in tutorials. As you can see the ingredients aren't that good but that's what you are expecting in an inexpensive palette.

Considering the price these shadows are very pigmented and blend really nicely. The glitter shadows aren't as pigmented, especially the lighter shades which you can't really pack on the lid even if the brush is damp. Other than that the pigmentation is great and they look amazing on the eyes

Overall would definitley recommend this palette to everyone and is a brilliant affordable opition! The colours are pretty much identical to the Naked 3 palette and if you use a good primer you will get an amazing result.

Hope you enjoyed this post, let me know in the comments if you would like more posts like this and I will be sure to do then in the future - em <3

Drugstore Makeup Starter Kit

Hi everyone, today I'm going to be suggesting a few makeup products if you are just starting out with makeup but i would recommend them to anyone! <3

the first thing i would recommend for begginers is a bb cream. this just evens out your skin tone and looks really natural. this one is by maybelline however i would check the label to get one that matches your skin type ;)

powder was the first skin makeup item i wore and i still won't leave the house without it on. this just matifys your face and if you get an actual shade it gives a little bit coverage. i would recommend this one by rimmel, it's really cheap but i dont think i will ever use another one! the only thing is as it can cake, so definitley tap off the excess product before you apply.

if you have a few spots, a bit of redness or dark circles i would recommend a concealer. this is also by rimmel and gives a medium coverage and doesn't cake or crease. i would always set this with a bit of powder as it gives

hope this helped some of you! hope everyone has a good weekend - em <3

April Favourites

Hi guys, can't believe it's May already! Today I'm going to be talking you through some of the things i have been loving during the month of May <3

Beauty
♡ Rimmel Wake me up foundation in the shade '010 light porcelain'
This foundation is absolutely amazing, it gives a medium but buildable coverage but creates this gorgeous glowing look. It's also very affordable which is always a plus and it is meant to have an anti fatigue effect which is another plus for me as I have chronic fatigue!

♡ Makeup Revolution iconic pro lipstick in 'you're a star'
I never really reached for this until the end of last month and since then I have worn it pretty much every day! It's an amazing dark nude colour with a pinky undertone to it. It isn't particularly glossy nor matte and is very pigmented. I think it would also suit more or less very skin tone, oh and did I mention that it's only £2.49

♡ W7 in the nude palette
I just recently picked this up in B&M after seeing this in a few people's makeup collection's and i do not regret it! This is meant to be a dupe for the Naked 3 and has pretty much identical colours. I have really been enjoying more pinky toned colours as it's spring (even thought it's freezing and it was snowing the other day lol) I was thinking about doing a proper review and swatches in a seperate blog post so let me know if you want to see that ;)

♡ Real Techniques base shadow brush
I have had this brush for ages now but just used it to wack on a skin coloured shadow over the lid, but now i use it to put colour in the crease as well as over the lid and have been loving it. It just gives a much more blended and soft look instead of a dense flat topped brush that i was using previously.

Music
♡ The Vamps
I have been listening to The Vamps for a couple years now and now that they have realised their new album i love them even more! I was also lucky enough to see them in concert again this month which was absolutley amazing x
♡ Work from home by Fifth Harmony
This is such a catchy song and just puts me in such a good mood
♡ Cheap thrills by Sia
This is probably my favourite Sia song so far and i just love it!
♡ Dangerous woman by Ariana Grande
I have never been that big of a fan of Ariana but I think I'm starting to become an Arianator as I have been listening to this song loads
♡ Hands to Myself by Selena Gomez
I have heard this in so many youtube videos but since i have actually heard the whole song it has definitely grown on me!

Random
♡ Keeping up with the Kardashians
I have watched the Kardashians on and off for a while now but currently I am obbsessed! I'm so excited for the new series
♡ Modern Family season seven
Modern Family is one of my all time favourites and the new series is so good!
♡ Britain's got talent
I'm so glad bgt is back on, it's so good and this series has been amazing so far
♡ Beauty Spectrum
I absolutley love Molly, I haven't been subscribed for long but all her videos are amazing especially her vlogs
♡ Shaaanxo
I have been watching her main channel videos for a while now but I have just discovered her vlog channel and I am obbsessed
♡ Statement necklace from Primark
This is so pretty and really makes an outfit!

Youtuber Book Reviews

Hi everyone, today I am going to be doing a few mini reviews of different books written by youtubers/bloggers. p.s I also love life with a Sprinkle of Glitter but I can't find it!

Girl Online by Zoe Sugg
£12.99
This book is all about a anxious teenager who created an annomynous blog all about the ups and downs of her life. Then her family moves all the way from Brighton to New York where she meets a boy, Noah who she falls in love with. At first it was a bit boring I'm not going to lie but once you get into it it's amazing! I think this is a very relatable book for teenagers and is also very current which is always a plus personally. Also can we talk about how cute the cover is?!

Love Tanya by Tanya Burr
This is such a good book, there is something for everyone in it. You can just pick it up whenever and read it. There is a great variety of categories including food, fitness, beauty, fashion, how to deal with life and also a bit of a biography. The recipes in this are sooo good, i have tried quite a few of them and they have all turned out well. This also acts as a bit of a decor piece aswell which is an added bonus!
£12.99

The Glam Guide by Fleur de Force
This book is a bit similar to Tanya's but is a bit more focused on beauty + fashion. I really like this book aswell, It was a bit more expensive but its worth it in my opinion. I also really like a paperback! But this is like a step by step guide to life, she gives advice on boyfriends + body confidence as well as giving beauty and fashion tips. i have definitley learned a few things from this book and would recommend it to everyone.
£14.99

Selp Helf by Miranda Sings / Colleen Evans
This book is basically an insight to the life of miranda. It is absolutley hilarious, definitley a must have for all you mirfandas! It honestly just sums her up so well and it is a right feel good book. It is also a really easy read for my spoonies, it doesn't trigger as bad as a migraine when reading. Anyway definite reccomend for anyone who watches Miranda Sings but if you don't this isn't for you.
£12.99

Hope this post was helpful, I definitley recommend all of these books and would buy them if it wasn't for the author! - em <3

Night Routine : Spring Edition

Hi everyone hope you are all doing well. I'm going to be talking you through my night routine today <3

The first thing I do once I have had some dinner I tidy my room a bit and turn all my fairy lights on

Then I do some skincare, I take my makeup off with the garnier micellar water. Then apply some oilatum cream to moisture my skin and put some lip balm on.

I usually also take a bath in the evening, I obviously don't have a lush bath every night but I wanted to include a little demo. To make my bath that extra bit nicer I crumbled some of the yuzu and cocoa bubbleroon by lush which made the bath a lovely green colour and created lots of bubbles (the camera isn't doing it justice!)

In the bath I used some products from the sugar crush range by soap and glory. When I'm in the bath I either watch some tv or youtube on my ipad and catch up on social media.

Once I get out the bath I get into my pyjamas and jump into bed (not literally). Normally I watch some YouTube and again just sit on my phone until I feel tired enough to go to bed xx

Thank you for taking the time to read this, let me know below what you think of this post and if you want more routine posts for summer - em <3
